BioEverything is Energy! Creative. Passionate. Honest. I am a strategic visual storyteller – here to tell beautiful stories for brands and people. My goal is to create an emotional connection with the audience through compelling messaging, clean design and sustainable packaging. Steve Jobs said it best… “The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller. The storyteller sets the vision, values and agenda of an entire generation that is to come.” My storytelling journey began in Sydney, Australia… After graduating from the University of Technology in Visual Communication, my first job was at Creative Plus – a small design studio where I had the chance to create the first-ever Olympic limited-edition Kellogg’s Corn Flakes cereal box. Then it was on to Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills to work for Bijan Fragrances as a packaging designer. Here, I had the most incredible experience designing opulent packages fit for the rich and famous–constellations of amenity lines sparkling in the most luxurious hotels in the world. Also, I guess my love of sports and fashion came in handy when I had the opportunity to design the Michael Jordan Cologne. Every single design is created with positive vibes, passion and a sense of quiet magic that is taken from the world around me – my goal is to make the client smile. Just as inspiration abounds in nature for me – in ladybugs and shooting stars – I want to infuse that bit of the ineffable into the images I create. I am fortunate that those images have graced a cosmos of clients and designers in the fashion and cosmetics industries. As I moved on to explore even greater heights. I prepared ads for a variety of international and national magazines including Condé Nast, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar for the fashion house St. John Knits. I was very fortunate to have bonded with elite designers, including as Kelly Gray’s most-requested artist. After St. John Knits – I continued creating more magic at Arbonne as the Sr. Creative Director – as the “keeper of the brand” I get to “play” in many areas creating eco-friendly packaging, print, digital and video graphics. At times I wish I could step back into 16th century Florence and intern for DaVinci, or that unicorns were real. What I know for sure is this: I find fantasy in every breath and I know my talents and skills can breathe that into design as well. “May you always have arista, red wine, a lust for beauty and joy for life.!” pressMeet Arlette_VoyageLA Interview |
